The 135-kWh large battery pack gives the Quad-Motor R1S an EPA-estimated range of up to 303 miles with the 22'' wheels, which varies with wheels, speed, temperature and conditions.At home, Level 2 charging at up to 11.5 kW (48 amps, with a suitable circuit) adds roughly 25 miles of range per hour. On the road, the R1S can fast charge at high-power DC stations at up to about 220 kW, with a 10 to 80 percent charge typically taking about 40 to 45 minutes depending on battery temperature and charger output. A standard household outlet works for slow top-ups.
