Even before its options, the Polestar 4 Long Range Dual Motor comes very well equipped. Standard equipment includes the full-length panoramic roof, active LED headlights with daytime running lights, a full-width LED rear light bar, and a welcome and goodbye light sequence that projects the Polestar logo onto the ground.Inside, a 15.4'' landscape center display and a 10.2'' driver display handle the technology. CHARGING, RANGE & ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN
A 100 kWh battery powers two electric motors, one front and one rear. They produce a combined 544 horsepower and 506 lb-ft of torque and send it through all-wheel drive. The EPA estimates a range of about 280 miles on a full charge and rates efficiency at 85 MPGe combined, with zero tailpipe emissions.Level 1 (120V): A standard household outlet works for topping off overnight or in an emergency, but it adds only a few miles of range per hour. Most owners will want a Level 2 setup at home.
Level 2 (240V): The 11 kW onboard charger takes the battery from empty to full in about 11 hours on a 240V home or public charger. Plugging in overnight means waking up to a full battery.
DC Fast Charging: At up to 200 kW, the Polestar 4 charges from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes on a compatible DC fast charger. That's about the length of a coffee and snack stop on a road trip.
MECHANICAL FEATURES
The dual-motor powertrain delivers instant, smooth torque the moment you press the pedal, with no shifting and no hesitation. The result is effortless passing and quick merges. The all-wheel drive balances power between the front and rear axles for confident grip in rain and snow.Continuously controlled ZF adaptive dampers adjust the suspension in real time to soften rough pavement and keep the body flat in corners. Regenerative braking puts energy back into the battery as you slow down, which helps range and makes stop-and-go driving smoother.
EXTERIOR
The Polestar 4's sloping SUV-coupe profile is sleek and athletic. Frameless windows, flush door handles and frameless power side mirrors keep the lines clean and help the car slip through the air efficiently.
