The 2025 Rivian R1S earns a TOP SAFETY PICK+ award for vehicles built after August 2024.
The EPA has not released official fuel economy estimates for the 2025 Rivian R1S at the time of writing. Rivian estimates that the 2025 R1S has a range of 270 miles when fitted with the Standard 92.5-kWh battery and the base Dual-Motor powertrain. Range increases to 330 miles with the Large battery pack and Dual-Motor powertrain and to 410 miles with the Max pack and Dual-Motor powertrain. With the Tri-Motor setup, range drops to 380 miles. Range estimates are not yet available for the Quad-Motor model.
Rivian claims the standard battery pack can go from a 10% to an 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes when using a fast-charger. The Large battery increases charging time to 36 minutes, and the Max battery takes 41 minutes.
With its odometer now hovering around the 3,917 mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the following New Vehicle Limited Warranties!
