Porsche says the 100-kWh (95-kWh effective capacity) battery pack can be charged from 10% to 80% percent in approximately 21 minutes using a DC fast charger capable of 270-kW. This fast recharge time comes courtesy of the SUV's 800-volt architecture. At 400-volt charging facilities, a switch enables separate charging of each battery bank, essentially splitting the battery into two 400-volt batteries.
