The plug-in-hybrid 2024 Grand Cherokee 4xe gets 23 mpg in combined city/highway driving in Gas/Hybrid mode, and 56 MPG-equivalent in Electric/Hybrid mode. Additionally, the Grand Cherokee 4xe offers up to 26 miles of fully electric range. That's not terrible, and it's equal to the Mazda CX-90 PHEV. The battery takes about 2.5 hours to charge using a 240-volt or Level 2 charger, and it takes around 12 hours using a regular 120-volt household-style power outlet.
