The IONIQ 5 has a 10.9-kW onboard charger. When using a 240-volt (Level 2) household-style power outlet, it takes almost six hours to fully charge the Standard Range model and around seven hours to fully charge the Long Range IONIQ 5, according to Hyundai. Using a DC fast charging station (Level 3), going from a 10% to an 80% charge takes approximately 18 minutes for all trims, Hyundai says.
