''Yes, the 2024 330e is a good car. This BMW combines great driving dynamics, modern tech and strong design with an efficient plug-in-hybrid powertrain that supplies enough electric range for short commutes. It also boasts a comfortable interior and straightforward infotainment system,'' U.S. News adds.
With its odometer now hovering around the 11,597 mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty until October 2027 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!
Standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, wood trim, power-adjustable front seats, driver's seat memory settings, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch wheels and power-folding side mirrors. BMW equips every 330e with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio capability, a 10-speaker audio system, multizone automatic climate control, a moonroof and ambient interior lighting. A handful of safety features also come standard, and these include forward automatic emergency braking, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a rearview camera and forward collision warning.
The 330e includes all the standard features of the regular 330i but adds a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor (combined 288 hp, 310 lb-ft). The EPA estimates it can drive about 22 miles on a fully charged battery.
The 2024 BMW 330e is significantly more fuel-efficient than the standard 330i thanks to its plug-in-hybrid powertrain. The 330e gets 68 to 73 MPG-equivalent in combined city/highway driving in Electric/Hybrid mode, and 26 to 27 mpg combined in Gas/Hybrid mode.
Recharging the 12.0-kWh battery takes 11.5 hours using a standard 120-volt household-style power outlet or 3.5 hours using a 240-volt or Level 2 connection.
