To correct it, Hyundai replaced the water pump, two engine coolant temperature sensors, and the integrated thermal management module (the electronically controlled valve assembly that regulates engine coolant flow in place of a conventional thermostat), and a follow-up inspection confirmed the vehicle meets manufacturer specifications.
