It is propelled by an electric motor at each axle for all-wheel drive and fed by a 77.4-kWh battery pack.
With its odometer now hovering around 15,051, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until September 2027 or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!
How are the range and efficiency? The EPA estimates that the GV60 Performance, which is what Edmunds tested, has a range of 235 miles on a full charge. It also says that you can expect to use 37 kWh of electricity for every 100 miles traveled. In Edmunds' real-world testing, their test model traveled 274 miles, nearly 40 miles more than its EPA estimate, and needed only 30.9 kWh of energy for every 100 miles. (Remember that the lower the kWh figure here, the better.)
This range should be enough for most EV buyers, and it's not too far off from the Tesla Model Y Performance's Edmunds-tested real-world range and consumption.
As far as charging goes, the GV60 is capable of ultra-quick DC charging speeds. Genesis says you can get from 10% to 80% in as quick as 18 minutes if using a suitable 350-kW charger. Total charging time at 240V is 7.2 hours.
The Performance increases output to 429 hp and 516 lb-ft with a range of 235 miles. Furthermore, it adds:
