How Long Does It Take to Charge the Taycan?
Depending on the battery in the car, it takes 9.5 or 10.5 hours to fully charge the Taycan via a public Level 2 charging station or at home with a 240-volt power outlet. With Level 3 DC fast charging, you can go from 5% to 80% battery capacity in 93 minutes. A DC charging station with maximum capability can charge the Taycan to 80% in just 22.5 minutes.
How Long Will the Taycan Battery Last?
For the Taycan's battery and electric powertrain components, Porsche provides an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.
Its mileage equivalent is up to 79 MPGe combined.
With its odometer now reading 24,383, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the New Car Limited Warranty until May 2026 or 50,000 miles!
The base Taycan has a range of 200 miles with the standard battery and 225 miles with the larger pack.
