SPIRITED, PRECISE, ALL-WEATHER CAPABLE, NONSMOKER, GOLF R PERFORMANCE AWAITS!
The 2019 Volkswagen Golf R pairs genuine hot-hatch practicality with a turbocharged all-wheel-drive powertrain, delivering the kind of everyday-usable performance that's made it a cult favorite among enthusiasts who still need to haul groceries.Finished in Oryx White Pearl over Titan Black perforated leather, this Golf R shows approximately 44,891 miles and comes backed by a well-documented 17-record service history, equipped with Dynamic Chassis Control and gloss black 19-inch wheels.
Standard Features
Every Golf R arrives genuinely well-equipped as the performance flagship of the Golf lineup.- 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive -- Delivers genuinely confident traction in a wide range of weather and road conditions, a hallmark of the Golf R nameplate.
- Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) -- Lets the driver switch between Comfort, Normal, Race, and Individual modes, genuinely altering the car's ride and handling character at the touch of a button.
- DSG Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission -- Delivers lightning-quick, near-seamless shifts, whether left in automatic mode or controlled manually via paddle shifters.
- Navigation System -- Provides genuine built-in route guidance without relying solely on a smartphone.
Warranty
With approximately 44,891 miles on the odometer, this Golf R's original factory warranty has expired based on its age and mileage. The strong side of that story is the vehicle's history itself. CARFAX shows 17 service records, a genuinely reassuring sign of consistent, well-documented care over the years. Extended service plans may be available for buyers who want added peace of mind going forward.
Installed Options
- Gloss Black Alloy Wheels Package -- 19-inch split 5-spoke wheels finished in gloss black, giving this Golf R a noticeably more aggressive, purpose-built stance than the standard silver-finished wheels.
Mechanical Features
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 288 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with the DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive. This combination delivers genuinely quick, confident acceleration, with 0-60 mph arriving in approximately 4.7 seconds, while the AWD system keeps power down in a way front-wheel-drive hot hatches simply can't match.Exterior Features
The Oryx White Pearl finish gives this Golf R a clean, understated look that lets the performance hardware do the talking, while the 19-inch gloss black wheels add a genuinely more aggressive visual edge over the standard finish.Interior Features
Inside, the Titan Black perforated leather seating gives the cabin a genuinely upscale feel that stands apart from the cloth seats found on lower Golf trims, while the DSG paddle shifters and Race mode-equipped DCC system reinforce the Golf R's performance character throughout.Infotainment & Technology
The navigation system keeps this Golf R genuinely easy to live with day to day, providing built-in route guidance alongside standard connectivity features.Safety Features
A comprehensive airbag system and standard active safety features provide meaningful reassurance in everyday driving, while the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system adds genuine confidence in poor weather conditions that would leave a front-wheel-drive hatchback struggling for traction.... and there's SO MUCH more! If available, vehicle files can be found above this description on our website, including the original brochure and window sticker!
The Bottom Line
