The RX has a 6.6-kW onboard charger. Using a household 240-volt outlet or similar public Level 2 charger, you can charge the RZ fully from empty in about 9.5 hours, according to Lexus. You can expect about 25 miles of range per hour of charging. With a DC fast charger, it takes about 30 minutes to go from 0% to 80% capacity.
We don't recommend using a standard household-style outlet to charge the RZ, but if you do, it takes about 50 hours for a full charge.
With its odometer now reading TWELVE, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until March 2028 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! Additionally, this attractive and well-built compact SUV will be covered by the remainder of the POWERTRAIN warranty until 2060 or 70,000 miles!
