This EV has a 64.8-kWh battery pack that's good for an EPA estimated 253 miles of range (280 miles in Edmunds' testing). It also has a 201-horsepower electric motor that powers the front wheels.

How and Where Can I Charge the 2023 Niro EV?

You can charge the Niro EV at home using a standard household-style power outlet - though neither we nor Kia recommends this - or using a 240-volt connection. You can also find Level 2 public chargers or DC Fast-Charging stations in places like shopping centers, rest stops or along well-traveled highways.

How Long Does It Take to Charge the 2023 Niro EV?

The Niro EV comes with an 11-kW onboard charger. Using Level 2 charging, you can get a full charge in less than seven hours. With Level 3 (DC Fast-Charging), you can juice the Niro EV's battery from 10% capacity to 80% in about 45 minutes.

According to Kia, it takes more than 57 hours to charge the Niro EV using a regular household-style power outlet. So . . . ya know, maybe don't do it that way.

With its odometer now reading 6,968, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until December 2027 or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!
