Models with the smaller 76.1-kWh battery shorten that to just 20 minutes. When plugged into a 240-volt outlet or Level 2 charger, a full charge takes about 7 to 9 hours. Charging with a standard household 120-volt outlet can only add a few miles of range per hour and is not recommended.
