Lexus has a deep roster of hybrid vehicles, but the RZ is the only fully electric model in the lineup. It debuted last year and is related to the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra, but with Lexus' brand of luxury and refinement. In terms of size, it fills the gap between the smaller Lexus NX and larger RX. As is the case with other Lexus vehicles, the RZ favors comfort over performance and comes with a generous list of driver assistance features.

Recharging the battery from 0% to 100% takes about 9.5 hours using a 240-volt Level 2 charger. A DC fast charger can charge the RZ from 0% to 80% in around a half-hour. Using a standard 120-volt household outlet (Level 1) takes a whopping 50 hours to charge from 0% to 100% and is not recommended.
With its odometer now hovering around 11,781, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until July 2028 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! Additionally, the engine, transmission and drive axles are STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory powertrain warranty until 2030 or 70,000 miles!
