The I-PACE uses electric motors front and rear combining for 394 horsepower and 512 lb-ft of torque. The dual-motor setup also means every I-PACE is all-wheel-drive. A 90-kWh battery pack is good for an EPA-estimated range of up to 246 miles, although Edmunds bested that in our real-world testing, stretching the I-PACE to 262 miles.
While the Jaguar I-PACE won major awards like World Car of the Year in 2019, its 2024 recognition focuses more on its enduring quality, being praised in 2024 reviews (like by Business Car) as a still-excellent, trailblazing EV with a timeless design, even as new competitors emerge, solidifying its legacy rather than sweeping new 2024 specific awards.
It returns an estimated 89 MPG-equivalent in city driving and 82 MPGe on the highway in models with the standard 20-inch wheels. Choosing the optional 22-inch rims sees a dip to 79/72 MPGe city/highway.
The I-PACE has a driving range of about 246 miles on a full charge. It takes around 8.6 hours to fully recharge the I-PACE when using a 240-volt outlet or Level 2 public charging station. If you use a DC fast charger, you can get an 80% charge in around 40 minutes.
With its odometer now hovering around the 3,464 mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty until November 2029 or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)!
