You can charge the F-150 Lightning at home or in public at places like office parking garages or shopping center charging stations. At home, you can use a 240-volt outlet or the Charge Station Pro wall box.
There's also the BlueOval Charge Network of more than 75,000 charging stalls across the country. With the FordPass app, you can map out charging stations to your driving route and even have charging automatically billed to a credit card on file.
The truck's charging port is on the driver's side front fender, and charging starts automatically when you connect the cable.
With a home 240-volt connection, Ford estimates an average of about 20 hours to charge an extended-range-battery model from 15% capacity to 100%. Using the Charge Station Pro, Ford estimates an average of about 8 hours for the extended-range models and about 10 hours for the standard-range models.
Using DC Fast-Charging, such as through the BlueOval network, Ford estimates you can recoup about 54 miles of range in 10 minutes.
With its odometer now hovering around the 21,620 mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until January 2026 or 36,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! Additionally, this electric truck will be covered by the remainder of the POWERTRAIN warranty until 2028 or 100,000 miles!
This particular ALL-WHEEL DRIVE SUPERCREW CAB model enjoys a 5.5-foot bed length, 145.5'' wheelbase, 8,550-pound gross vehicle weight rating & 9.61 axle ratio enjoys a 1,800-pound maximum payload, and 8,500-pound max towing capability!
The Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum (which is what Edmunds tested) has an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles. The EPA also estimates the truck will use 51 kWh of electricity per 100 miles driven.

This has aftermarket 24'' DUB S268 Dirty Dog wheels in a gloss black finish. Adding larger aftermarket 24-inch wheels would likely decrease the electric range due to increased weight and rolling resistance by a slight margin.
Standard driver aids include:
