It boasts an attractive interior design and plenty of features for the money!
The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ won the Green Car Journal's Luxury Green Car of the Year award. Additionally, it was recognized on Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list. In 2024, the LYRIQ also won the German Luxury Car of the Year award.
You can charge the LYRIQ at home using a 120- or 240-volt outlet or in public at a charging station. The LYRIQ features a charge port on the driver's side of the vehicle, between the front wheel arch and door. Simply press on the Cadillac crest in the upper right corner of the port to open it, and then plug-in the charge cord to begin charging. An LED light at the base of the windshield will blink to indicate that charging is in progress. You can monitor the state of charge on the infotainment display.
The charging time of the LYRIQ depends on the method used. The LYRIQ can recoup up to 76 miles of range in just 10 minutes when plugged into a DC Fast-Charging station (Level 3). A 240-volt outlet or a Level 2 public charging station can fully charge the battery in anywhere from 7 to 14 hours, depending on the power supply. A typical 120-volt household outlet (Level 1) can add a few miles of range per hour, which is handy for use in a pinch, but it's not practical long term.
With its odometer now hovering around the 28,823 mark, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty until February 2027 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! Additionally, the engine, transmission and drive axles are STILL COVERED under the balance of the factory powertrain warranty until 2031 or 70,000 miles!
Standard features include a curved 33-inch infotainment and gauge cluster display, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 19-speaker stereo, satellite radio (subscription required), Bluetooth, five USB ports, wireless [Qi] device charging, Wi-Fi hotspot (subscription required), keyless entry, multi-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic moonroof, larger wheels, synthetic leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel and front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions.
Additional standard equipment includes LED headlights with automatic high beams, front and rear collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a surround-view parking camera system, hands-free parking assist, rear-seat alert and Super Cruise (unlocked future software update).
The Luxury RWD also has trim-specific features like a 19.2-kW onboard charger, a hands-free power liftgate and a rearview mirror with an integrated camera display.
The rear-wheel-drive model is rated for 312 miles of range.
