It's also relatively inexpensive to own for its class.
The ten-speed transmission offers a 20% decrease in RPM during shifting. While towing, decreased ratio distance ensures smoother shifts. It offers great efficiency, and performance, while all in all optimizing fuel economy.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2020 Acura RLX the highest rating of Good in all five crash tests conducted!
The IIHS uses a different scale for grading collision avoidance features. The RLX received the highest rating of Superior for its standard vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention system.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the RLX an overall safety rating of five out of five stars, with five stars in the frontal crash, side crash, and rollover tests. The NHTSA gave the RLX Sport Hybrid five stars in the side crash and rollover tests.
With its odometer now reading 36,560, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the bumper-to-bumper New-Vehicle Basic Warranty until November 2024 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! Additionally, this luxury car will be covered by the remainder of the Powertrain Limited Warranty until 2026 or 70,000 miles!
The Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) system allows rear wheels to move independently of the front wheels for better control and handling. Acura four-wheel steering provides peace of mind and greater agility for handling the road ahead.
This trim offers an array of standard luxury features, coupled with a trick up its sleeve. The sedan is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine (310 hp, 272 lb-ft) mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Though it's front-wheel-drive, it also has rear-wheel steer, meaning the rear wheels will subtly turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels to help the back of the car swing around turns.
Leather-trimmed, heated front seats that can be adjusted 12 ways are standard. So are navigation, an 8-inch upper display, a 7-inch lower touch screen, a 14-speaker stereo, navigation, satellite radio capability, HD Radio, Bluetooth, and a USB port, and a suite of driving safety aids.
